As part of UCU’s effort to fight against the MAB deductions threatened by many universities, our regional office has asked us to encourage members who might have suffered unfair deductions for having participated in MAB action to submit a grievance. We have circulated the relevant documents via email, but please email us on ucuderby@gmail.com if you have not received them. The branch will actively support members engaged in the process, so please inform us immediately if you have your salary deducted.

While we are still putting pressure on the university in order to make sure that no deductions (or only very limited ones) are made, it is important that members know how to act if this does happen.
