From Monday 3 June, UCU has called on all members, trade unionists, and supporters to undertake an academic boycott of Goldsmiths which includes the following:

• NOT applying for any advertised jobs at Goldsmiths
• NOT speaking at or organising academic or other conferences at Goldsmiths
• NOT giving lectures at Goldsmiths
• NOT accepting positions as visiting professors or researchers at Goldsmiths
• NOT accepting new contracts as external examiners for taught courses at Goldsmiths.

We are also calling on UCU members and supporters to show solidarity with Goldsmiths by:

• donating to the branch’s GoFundMe
• passing motions in support of Goldsmiths UCU; a solidarity motion produced by the branch is available here. We will be talking about this on the committee but would be interested in any thoughts from member on this.
