About UCU at the University
The University of Derby UCU branch is here to represent the interests of all the employees at the University of Derby.
Our one branch covers not only the Derby sites at Kedleston Road, Britannia Mill, Friar Gate, the Enterprise Centre and the Markeaton site but also the other satellite sites outside of Derby at Leek and Buxton.
UCU have the recognition for negotiating rights for all academic staff, both those working in FE and HE sectors. We can also represent some non-academic staff.
